a word of caution before reading on..
Don't mind the long post cos that's exactly what you'll get from me..
And so it began...
Walking down the darkened hall, I heard a spooky sound
Approached another corner, do I dare go round?
The darkness all around me, can barely see a thing
What awaits me round the bend, what will the next turn bring?
I rush around the corner, and see a ghostly face
I cannot see the details, my heart begins to race
Feeling round I find a switch, I turn it on to see
On the wall an old mirror, the face in it is me...

Confused? I hope not.. This poem has a somewhat double meaning about it.. It adds a mystifying effect to something that people don't actually realise.. Many of us often come across a point in time when we're faced with a challenge or maybe hit crossroads in life.. And end up not doing anything.. What we don't realise is that sometimes, the one thing that's holding us backin life is just ourself..
When we come face to face with adversity, we tend to move away or hesitate.. And most often than not, an opportunity goes by.. Leaving nothing but a trail of regret behind.. And that's when we start to curse and swear at the chance gone by.. But make no mistake about it, with every mistake that we've made and every wrong choice thatt we've chosen.. There's always such a thing as a second chance or redemption..
So the next time, when you come across a path that leads into the unknown.. Don't hesitate to make a choice.. A leap into the unknown is not stupidity.. Try making that leap of faith.. You'll be surprised at where you'll end up..
